Okay, so we have this beautiful
wainscoting in our front room. In no way is this stuff
pre-fab., It is individual beveled slats of wood that were hung with care. Two problems though - they have settled over time and they were painted black.
So after a coat of primer and just one coat of paint....this is what it looked like:

What were we going to do? Our first thought was to go buy some
spray paint to spray in the middle of the slats but, that did not work.
Fortunately, The Dad was there helping and he suggested that we try using painters caulk.
That was the answer we were looking for because....this is what it looks like now:
