So This is Pretty Cool

Yesterday we got a brochure in the mail that the Ohio Historical Society is putting on a "Building Doctor's" event in a town near us. To quote the brochure read as follows:

• If you own an older building, or are involved in the care and maintenance of one, you won't want to miss our informative two-hour seminar on caring for older buildings, including ways to recognize and solve such common old-building problems as peeling paint, failing plaster, wet basements, deteriorating masonry, damaged wood, window repair, and many other topics
• Our Building Doctors are experts on old-building maintenance and repairs, and bringing an older building back to live without sacrificing features that make it appealing

Sounds like something we need to go to!
